EMMAKING: FINE ARTIST

I am a local artist living, exhibiting and working in Bollington, Cheshire; a beautiful village in the footholds of the Pennines. I am deeply passionate about capturing the colours, textures and changing light of landscapes and seascapes I see: inspired by the strong, bright hues found in the tempestuous hills of local Derbyshire as well as the the subtle shades of the Cheshire Plain and softer hues of the British coastline.

I graduated from the University of Northumbria in 1996 in Contemporary Art Practise, majoring in painting, and I am now a full time lecturer in art at a local college.
 

I offer competitively priced paintings in a variety of sizes (framed or unframed) on canvas, using an array of mediums. All the paintings on this site are sold however I am constantly working on new pieces and can give you prices on request.
